Quezia Bezerra Cass is a Senior Full Professor at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) and currently serves as a Senior Visiting Professor in the Graduate Program in Chemistry at the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT), Brazil. Her research focuses on separation science and mass spectrometry, with particular emphasis on innovative approaches to molecular recognition, affinity-based methods, and the discovery of bioactive compounds. Her work integrates analytical chemistry with pharmacology and natural products research, contributing to the development of new strategies for bioactive compound discovery, pest and insect control, and environmental monitoring.
