Dr. Hermicenda Pérez Vidal is a full-time professor and researcher at the Juárez Autonomous University of Tabasco. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry from the University of the Basque Country (Spain), an M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico, and undergraduate in Biology from the Juárez Autonomous University of Tabasco.
She is the leader of the Consolidated Academic Group Materials Science and a member of Mexico’s National System of Researchers (SNII). Throughout her career, she has supervised 39 theses, led research projects, and developed specialized technical services. Her teaching activities include undergraduate and graduate courses in Materials Science and Applied Chemistry.
